*For all fertilizers, it's important not to fill your fertilizer spreader directly over your lawn to avoid spillage around the spreader and resulting in a darker patch. Always carefully follow the application instructions and make sure you don't apply fertilizer to the same area twice.
Spreader setting: For your broadcast spreader, the adjustment depends on the number of passes you make:
If you apply in two cross passes (north-south / east-west), we recommend setting the opening to about 1/4.
If you apply in a single pass, you can set the opening between 1/3 and 1/2.

Urea is a colour booster used between fertilizer applications to intensify the greenness of the lawn.
- Does not replace a fertilizer application step in the maintenance program
- Use very small quantities
- Water after application ( minimum 10 to 15 mm of water )
Do not apply to stressed, drought-affected lawns or during periods of intense heat. Wait a minimum of 2 to 4 weeks between fertilizer applications before applying urea.
Dolomitic lime
Dolomitic lime is used to correct soil acidity and improve nutrient absorption .
- Can be applied in spring or autumn
- No watering is necessary
- No risk of burning the grass when used at the recommended doses.
Lime acts gradually in the soil; its action is not immediate.

Corn gluten is used to prevent weed germination .
- Apply in early spring before germination.
- Can also be applied at the end of summer or in the fall
- Preventive action lasting approximately 4 to 6 weeks

For optimal results...
- Follow our lawn fertilizer application plan with 4 applications, each application spaced correctly (the minimum being 4 weeks between each application).
- It is possible to add urea between fertilizer applications to improve the color of your lawn if the ideal conditions are present (no drought/heatwave, 10-15mm of rain, and a minimum of 4 weeks between each fertilizer/urea application).
- For our part, in our harvest fields, we apply dolomitic lime at least once or twice a year.
